A former standout at rival Springfield College, Morgan Reinbegins her first season as a member of the Keene State field hockeycoaching staff.
Rein from Mystic, Conn., capped her Pride career by earningAll-America, All-Region, All-ECAC, and All-NEWMAC honors last fall.She was also named SC’s female team athlete of the year andselected to play in the NFHCA senior all-star game.
Prior to joining the Pride, Rein was a top field hockey andbasketball player at Stonington (Conn.) High. A two-timeAll-State field hockey player, Rein was a member of the StoningtonState (Class M) championship basketball team as a senior.
With the addition of Rein, Keene State’s coaching staffnow includes three Springfield grads, Head Coach Amy Watson andCarole Kinsella, KSC’s goalie coach.
Rein will be involved in all facets of the program and be a bighelp in practice where Coach Watson will be able to utilize herphysical and technical skills.
