BOSTON, MA. (10/20/01)- The Keene State College women's volleyball team saw its hopes of qualifying for the Little East Tournament end with a pair of losses in a conference round robin match at UMA-Boston on Saturday.

The Owls dropped matches to host UMA Boston 3-1 (27-30, 30-28, 19-30, and 28-30) and UMA-Dartmouth 3-1 (19-30, 25-30, 30-20, and 27-30).

Debbie Hughes (Ashland, NH) had 12 kills and 17 digs and Marla Malinauskas (New Providence, NJ) finished with 13 kills to lead the Owls against UMB.

Keene State (9-15, 1-5 LEC) will host Worcester State in a non-conference match on Monday at Spaulding Gym.
