KEENE, N.H. (10/24/01)- Playing its final home match of the season, the Keene State College women's volleyball team defeated Connecticut College 3-1 in a non-conference match played Thursday at Spaulding Gym.

After losing the first game 30-28, the Owls came back to sweep the next three games 30-24, 30-23, and 30-15. Honored prior to the match, seniors Marla Malinauskas (New Providence, N.J.) had 14 kills, six digs, four service aces, and five blocks and Amy Warren (Yorktown, N.Y.) added five kills and 10 digs. Abbe Robichaud, a junior from Gilford, N.H. finished with 12 kills and season-high 23 digs.

Kelly Hart (Cumberland, R.I.) had 16 kills and 19 digs and Molly Gage (New York, NY) contributed five kills and 12 digs to lead CT College. Keene State (11-15) will complete its season at Plymouth State on Friday when its plays Western CT in a LEC match (7 p.m.).

CT College falls to 1-20.
