PLYMOUTH, N.H. 1/22/02- Junior Hayley Alaimo (Ellington, CT) and sophomore Aly Araque (Hopewell Jct., N.Y.) both registered double-doubles Tuesday evening, including a game-high 21 points apiece, as Keene State College knocked off Plymouth State College77-69 in a Little East Conference women's basketball game at Foley Gymnasium.

The win improves the Owls to 10-6 overall and 5-3 in the conference, while the Panthers drop to 12-5 and 5-3. PSC had won 15 consecutive conference home games, dating back two years to the day (an 80-71 loss to Eastern Connecticut on 1-22-00).

It was still anyone's game when the two teams exchanged leads with less than six minutes remaining. Alaimo and Araque each connected on five three-point field goals, with Alaimo grabbing 14 rebounds and Araque pulling down 11. Sophomore Andrea Arsenault (Dover, N.H.) added 12 points and eight boards, and senior Erika Forsberg (Laconia, N.H.) contributed 10 points and nine rebounds as the Owls had a 58-42 advantage in the rebounding department.

PSC had just two players score in double figures. Junior Whitney Morin (Derby Line, Vt.) tossed in a team-high 18 points, while classmate Courtney Albert (Hudson, N.H.) added 16 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Junior Heather Adey (Nashua, N.H.) chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds.
