'WILLIMANTIC, CT - (10/1/02)- The Keene State College women's volleyball team lost a 3-0 LEC match to Eastern Connecticut State University on the road at Willimantic, CT, on Tuesday night.

The Owls played hard in all three games but couldn't come up with a victory against the Warriors.  Games scores were 30-21, 30-17, and 30-27.

Sophomore Stacy Parr (Cheshire, CT) and Kristin Mullins (Turners Falls, MA.) had nine and seven digs respectively.  Katie Shea (Turners Falls, MA.) (seven kills and Deborah Hughes (Ashland, N.H.) (five kills) led KSC's offense while setter Adrienne Deschnow (Meriden, CT) finished with 21 assists.

Keene State (3-5, 1-3 LEC) will host Westfield State in a homecoming match on Friday (7 p.m.) at Spaulding Gym.
