'WORCESTER, MA. - 10/28/02- The Keene State College women's
volleyball team extended its winning streak to seven matches with a
3-1 victory over host Worcester State College on Monday.
With the win, KSC improves to 12-5 while Worcester State drops
to 14-5.
After dropping the opening game 26-30, the Owls came back to win
the next three 30-27, 30-24, and 30-23.
Continuing her strong play of late, Kristin Mullins (Turners
Falls, MA.) led the way for the Owls with 11 kills, 30 digs and
four service aces. Abbe Robichaud (Gilford, N.H.) added 10
kills and 27 digs and Nicole Geyselears (Cornwall Bridge, CT)
finished with 12 kills, four blocks, and one ace.
Keene State's next match is at Conn College on Wednesday (6
p.m.).
