'BEVERLY MA. 10/30/02 - Jennifer McCormack's goal with 1:30 to
play gave Endicott College a 1-0 victory over Keene State College
in a non-conference field hockey game played in Beverly, MA., on
Wednesday.
According to KSC Coach Amy Watson, the ball hit off the post and
bounced in front of the net and was ruled a goal.
Keene State dominated play and outshot the Powergulls, but could
not get the ball past Endicott goalie Kelly McNamara.
Amy Carroll (Brunswick, ME) finished the game with eight saves
for the Owls.
With the loss, KSC (12-7) had its three game winning streak
snapped. Endicott goes to 9-8.
Keene State wraps up its regular season on the road at Salem
State on Saturday (12 p.m.).
