'NEW LONDON, CT - 10/30/02- The Keene State College women's volleyball team (13-5) notched their eighth straight victory Wednesday evening, downing Connecticut College (9-13) 3-2 in Luce Field house.

The Owls posted 30-19 and 30-24 victories in the first two games. But the Camels answered in games three and four, registering 30-25 and 30-24 wins.  Keene State won the deciding fifth game by the score of 15-8.

Adrienne Deschnow (Meriden, CT) had 45 assists and added eight digs for the Owls.  Stacy Parr (Cheshire, CT) chipped in with a match-high 37 digs. Deborah Hughes (Ashland, N.H.) finished with 15 kills, and three blocks and Nicole Geyselears (Cornwall Bridge, CT) contributed 13 kills and a season-high seven blocks.

Keene State will compete this Saturday at the Trinity College Tri-Meet with U.S. Merchant Marine (1 p.m.).
