'KEENE, N.H. - (10/4/02)- Keene State College swept a three game match against Westfield State College in non-conference women's volleyball action at Spaulding Gym on Friday.

Overcoming early deficits in each game, KSC posted game score wins of 30-23, 30-19, and 30-21.

Freshman Shelly Ellis (Hampton, N.H.) had a fine overall match for the Owls with 10 kills, five service aces and 13 digs. Deb Hughes (Ashland, N.H.) added 10 kills and three blocks and Kristin Mullins (Turners Falls, MA.) finished with eight kills, three service aces and 14 digs to lead KSC.

Tasha Goulet (Worcester, MA.) had nine kills, 12 digs and three aces and Danielle Mainini (West Boxford, MA.) finished with eight kills, nine digs and one block to lead Westfield State (5-10).

Keene State (4-5) will host R.I. College in a Little East match on Tuesday (6 p.m.) at Spaulding Gym.
