'CONCORD, N.H. 12/3/02 – The Keene State
College men's basketball team improved its record to 4-0 with a
one-sided 109-58 non-conference victory over New England College in
the Jacob's Bridge Through Autism Tournament held Tuesday at New
Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord.
Arthur Dybizbanski (Goffstown, N.H.) scored a career-high 15
points, including four three-pointers to lead the Owls.
Derek Swenson (Attleboro, MA.) had 12 points and freshmen Matt
Craig (Terryville, CT) and Sean Sullivan (Athol, MA.) also finished
in double figures with 10 points each. Dybizbanski led KSC in
rebounds with six.
Keene State scored the first 13 points of the game on the way to
building a comfortable 63-20 halftime lead. NEC didn't get
its first hoop until the 16 minute mark of the half. Keene State
has never lost a game at the three year tournament. They have
two wins over the NEC and a victory (87-71) against Colby-Sawyer
College last year.
New England College (0-4) was led by Joe Shaw with a game-high
17 points.
Keene State plays at Southern Vermont on Thursday (7 p.m.).
