early in the second half enabled host Springfield College to edge
Keene State College 1-0 in a non-conference field hockey game
played on Wednesday night.
It was the first loss of the season for KSC (1-1) while
Springfield improved to 3-0.
The Owls had a 11-8 shot advantage in the game but could not get
the ball past pride goalie Lindsey Pardue, who finished the game
with nine saves. Amy Carroll (Brunswich, ME) had three saves
for the Owls.
Keene State will be looking to get back on the winning track
when it hosts Skidmore College on Saturday (1:30 p.m.) at Owl
Stadium Complex.
