women's volleyball team posted a 1-2 record at this weekend's
Little East Round Robin matches at Western CT State University in D

On Friday night, Keene State lost a 3-0 match to defending
conference champion Western CT By the scores of 30-14, 30-13, and
30-20. Owls leaders included: Abber Robichaud (Gilford, N.H.)
5 kills, 17 digs; Shelly Ellis (Hampton, N.H.) 5 kills, 7 digs,
Kristin Mullins (Turner Falls, MA.) 5 kills, 7 digs, 1 set, and
Adrienne Deschnow (Meriden, CT) 16 set.
In Saturday's first match, the Owls lost 3-2 to rival Plymouth
state. KSC took the first two games 31-29, 30-24, but then
dropped the next three 30-24, 30-27, and 19-17.
In their second match, Keene State defeated Southern ME 3-1 to
notch its first win of the season and first LEC victory.
After losing the first game 30-25, the Owls swept the last three
games 30-10, 30-22, 30-22. Robichaud had 12 kills, 17 digs
and 6 aces and Deschnow added 43 assists, 13 digs and eight aces
(all in game two) to lead the way.
KSC (1-3, 1-2 LEC) host Colby-Sawyer on Monday (6 p.m.).
