'WILLIAMSTOWN, MA. 9/26/02- Williams College shutout Keene State College 3-0 Thursday in non-conference women's field hockey action.

Keene State's record falls to 5-3 (2-0 LEC/Alliance).  The loss snapped the Owls' three game winning streak.

Jay Gregory scored in the first half to give the Ephs the 1-0 halftime lead.  Stef Noering and Tori Scott each added a goal in the second half to give WC the 3-0 victory.

Wendy Stone had four saves in goal for the Ephs (3-1).

Amy Carroll (Brunswick, Me.) had another outstanding outing in goal for Keene State with 18 saves.

The Owls will face rival Plymouth State on Saturday(2 p.m.) in Plymouth, NH.
