'TROY, N.Y.   (9/28/02)- The Keene State College women's volleyball team posted a 1-1 record at the Russell Sage Tri-Meet on Saturday in Troy, N.Y.

The Owls defaulted its first match against Russell Sage when they arrived late due to a flat tire.

Regrouping from a 28-30 loss in its opening game against Cazenovia (N.Y.) College, KSC swept the next three game 30-14, 30-14, 30-16, to win the match 3-1.

Kristen Mullins (Turners Falls, MA.) had 12 kills, four service aces, and 25 digs, and Katie Shea (Turners Falls, MA.) added 12 kills, four service aces, and nine digs to lead the Owls.

KSC (3-4) is at Eastern CT on Tuesday (6 p.m.) for a key Little east Conference match.
