(Derby Line, Vt.) had a game-high 25 points to lead the Plymouth
State College women's basketball team to a 74-53 Little East
Conference victory over host Keene State College at Spaulding Gym
on Tuesday.
Keene State falls to 12-6 and 4-4 in the LEC while PSC (12-5,
6-2 LEC) rolled to its seventh straight victory.
Julie Tardif (Atkinson, N.H.) had 16 points and 13 rebounds to
lead the Owls. Andrea Arsenault (Dover, N.H.) added 14 points
and seven rebounds.
Leading by 10 (32-22) on a basket by Morin, Plymouth State
finished the first half with an 11-4 run to take a 43-26 halftime
lead. KSC had 19 first half turnovers.
The Panthers extended their lead in the second half going up by
as much as 24 points (59-35) and coasted to the win.
Mandi Allen (Blue Hill, Me.) with 14 points and Courtney Albert
(Hudson, N.H.), who had 13 points also finished in double figures
for PSC. Heather Adey (Nashua, NH) had game high 14 rebounds.
Keene State will host Southern ME on Saturday (1 p.m.). Plymouth
State returns home to face Johnson &Wales on Thursday (7:30
p.m.).
