'DANBURY, CONN . 10/25/03  - The Keene State College women's volleyball team posted Little East Conference win over UMass-Dartmouth (3-0) and UMass-Boston (3-1) to qualify for the conference post-season tournament on Saturday.

The Owls swept UMass-Dartmouth 30-23, 30-27, and 30-25.  The game scores against UMass-Boston were 30-16, 30-16, 25-30 and 30-18.

Stephanie Benard had nine kills and 11 digs, Shelly Ellis added eight kills, eight digs, and two service aces, and Lauren Graham finished with 23 assists and seven service aces against UMass-Dartmouth.

Genna Florkowski led KSC over UMB with a season-high 18 kills and 17 digs.  Ellis had another strong match with 12 kills, 16 digs and four service aces and Graham finished with 36 assists and seven service aces against the Beacons.

KSC (9-14, 3-4 LEC) finishes sixth in the LEC standings and will face third seed Southern main in a conference quarterfinal tournament game on Wed., Nov. 5 in Gorham, Maine.
