NORTH ADAMS, MASS.  11/25/03- The Keene State College Women's basketball team improved its record to 3-0 with a 62-44 non-conference victory over Mass. College of Liberal Arts, Tuesday night in North Adams, Mass.

Freshman Sarah Begnoche (Millville, Mass.) had 15 points and eight rebounds and Stacey Morse (Lebanon, N.H.) finished with 13 points and six rebounds to lead KSC.
 
KSC held MCLA scoreless for the first seven minutes on the way to building up a 17-0 lead.  After a bench clearing substitution, the Mohawks fought back to close the gap to 34-27 at the break.

The Owls pulled away in the second half extending its lead to as many as 25 points.

Kristen Lewis had 16 points and eight rebounds and Catherine Saad added 15 points and eight rebounds to lead MCLA (0-3).

Keene State is at Williams College on Sunday (3 p.m.).
