'PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior Courtney Albert (Hudson, N.H.) scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Tuesday night, leading Plymouth State College's women's basketball team to a 70-50 victory over rival Keene State College in a Little East Conference women's basketball game at Foley Gymnasium.

 The win gives PSC a season sweep over the Owls and improves the Panthers to 17-7 on the season, 9-4 in LEC contests.  Keene State drops to 14-10 overall and 6-7 in the conference.

It was anybody's game in the first half, with five lead changes in the first 10 minutes and PSC maintaining the advantage over the next 10 minutes.  The Panthers led by seven at the break (34-27), thanks to 14 points and 12 boards from Albert.

PSC pulled away early in the second half, taking a double-digit lead (42-31) with 17 minutes to play and making it a 20-points bulge (61-41) with seven minutes remaining.

In addition to Albert, the Panthers got 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists from senior Whitney Morin (Derby Line, Vt.), the only other Panther to score in double figures.  PSC had a 61-43 advantage on the boards.

The Owls were led by senior Hayley Alaimo (Ellington, CT), who had 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Senior Julie Tardif (Atkinson, N.H.) finished with 11 points and nine boards, and freshman Liz Donnelly (Littleton, N.H.) contributed 11 points off the Owls' bench.

            The regular season concludes this Saturday when Keene State meets UMA Dartmouth (1p.m.)
