'FORT MYERS, FLA. 3/18/03 – The Keene State College softball team improved its spring week trip record to 5-1 with a 8-0 victory over Pine Manor College Tuesday night in Fort Myers, Fla.

Stephanie Carter (Cohoes, N.Y.) went the distance for KSC against Pine Manor, giving up three hits in the five inning game with five strikeouts.

Jen Rissacher (Voorheesville, N.Y.) led the Owl offense with a home run to lead off the game, one of her two hits.  Jennifer Norman (Penacook, N.H.), and Abby Collis (Wynantskill, N.Y.) also had two hits each for the Owls.

KSC is off on Wednesday.  The Owls face undefeated Wheaton College and Oneonta State on Thursday.
