KEENE, N.H 12/7/04 - Maggie Miller (Wellesley, Mass.) had a game-high16 points and eight rebounds and Colleen Hession (Northampton, Mass.) finished with 15 points to lead Williams College to a 73-49 victory over Keene State College in a non-conference women's basketball game played Tuesday night at Spaulding Gym.

Keene State falls to 4-2 while Williams (7-1) extended its winning streak to four games.

Bekka Hopkins (Oxford, Mass.) led the Owls with 12 points while Stacey Morse (Lebanon, N.H.), Sarah Begnoche (Millville, Mass.), and Mary Crawford (Mount Holly, Vt.) each finished with seven points. Begnoche also added a team-high 12 rebounds.

Williams took advantage of a seven minutes scoring drought by the Owls to build a commanding 34-19 halftime lead. The Ephs extended their lead to 19 points (40-21) early in the second half. The Owls cut the deficit to 12 points on a pair of free throws by Danielle Gravely with 7:45 to play, but could get no closer.

The Owls his just six out of 23 three-pointers and were out rebounded 50-39.

Keene State returns to Little East play on Saturday when it travels to UMass-Boston (1 p.m.).
