SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 8, 2004 - Springfield College junior
forward Amber Paradee (Sheldon, Vt.) tallied a goal and an assist
to lead the Pride to a 3-0 shutout of Keene State this evening on
Benedum Field.
Reigning New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference
Player of the Week Kim Stevens (Knox, Maine), a senior, put the
Pride on the board with her first goal of the year at the 25:27

SC built a 2-0 halftime lead on junior Alisha Miner's
(Sanbornton, N.H.) tally, assisted by Paradee, with 7:20 remaining
in the period.
Paradee netted an unassisted insurance goal with 21:04 to play
in the game as the Pride and first-year head coach Melissa Rogers
extended their winning streak to three to open the 2004 campaign.
The game was a rematch of last season's ECAC Division III New
England Tournament Championship won by the host Owls, 2-1.
Sara Joyce (Hampstead, NH) finished with five saves for the
Owls, while Lindsey Pardue (Houston, TX) turned aside nine shots
for the Pride.
