'KEENE, N.H. 09/20/05 -Keene State College dropped a 3-0
non-conference field hockey game to 14th ranked Williams College at
Owl Athletic Complex on Tuesday night.
Williams remains undefeated (5-0) while KSC falls to 3-5.
Elspeth MacMillan (Portland, OR.) led the Ephs with two goals.
Williams took a 1-0 lead on its first shot on net. Rebecca Allen
(Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) put in a crossing ball from Meighan McGowan
(Greenwich, Conn.) at the 5:37 mark of the first half. MacMillan
(Portland, OR.) made it 2-0 with 2:18 to play.
MacMillan netted her second goal in the second half on a
rebound.
Sara Joyce (Hampstead, N.H.) had eight saves for KSC while Emily
Wasserman (Englewood, Co.) (one save)and Emily Raizin
(Lincolnshire, IL.) (0 saves) shared the shutout for Williams.
Williams has won all five meetings between the two teams.
