'SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. 09/05/05 - Skidmore College scored a pair of first half goals to post a 2-1 non-conference field hockey victory over Keene State College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Monday. 

The Thoroughbreds dominated play in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead on goals by Shaila Delea and Annie Ledyard, while outshooting the Owls 11-0.  

Keene State (1-2) got on the board four minutes into the second when Amanda Rosenbeck (Wilder, Vt.) converted a rebound. Stephanie Georgevits (Concord, N.H.) had an assist on the play. 

Stephanie Reed had one save for Skidmore (2-0), while Sara Joyce (Hampstead, N.H.) had 10 saves for KSC, including seven in the first half. 

Keene State will host Springfield College on Wednesday (7 p.m.).
