'KEENE, N.H. 11/11/06 - Keene State College men's and women's
swim/dive teams posted dual meet victories over Norwich University
at Spaulding Gym Pool on Saturday.
The KSC women (3-0) remained undefeated in dual meet competition
with a 155-74 victory. The Owl men, who lost to Norwich last
year, improved to 2-1 with a 155-138 win over the Cadets.
The Owl women won 14 out of 16 events. Senior Devon
Trabilsy (Hillsborough, N.J.) won the 1000-yard free (12:01.55),
200 Breast (2:45.99), and 400 IM (4:58.10), Alea Paddock (Newbury,
N.H.) won the 200 free (2:04.93) , 500 free (5:41.17), Krissy
Trutor (Holden, Mass.) won the 100 back (1:02.91) and 100 fly
(1:03.97), Megan Flynn (Colebrook, Conn.) won the 100 breast
(1:17.14) , Katy Pryor (Jaffrey, N.H.) won the 200 Back (2:17.35) ,
200 back (2:17.35) and 200 fly (2:28.24), Kelly Widman (Middlebury,
Conn.) won the 50 free (26.06) and 100 free (57.87).
After KSC men defeated the Cadets by 17 points in a close
meet. After losing the 200 medley relay by 0.23 seconds, the
Owl men swept the 1000 freestyle race with Kyle Uricchio (Enfield,
Conn.), Michael Fedele (Sandwich, Mass.) and Ian Macaskill
(Londonderry, N.H.) taking the first three places. Uricchio's
winning time was 10:39.92. The Owls went on to win seven more
events. Adam Vanbrandenburg (Tenafly, N.J) won the 200 free
(1:51.80) and 500 free (5:07.59), Domingo Rose (Nashua, N.H.) won
the 100 breast (1:04.92) and the 200 breast (2:24.80), Cody
Larrimore (Trappe, MD) won the 50 free (22.31) and 100 free
(49.23). The team of Vanbrandenburg, Urrichio, Larrimore and Fedele
combined to win the 800 Free Relay in a time of 7:38.84.

The KSC swim/dive team next meet is on Sat., Dec. 2. The
men will be at the Wesleyan Invitational while the women will
compete at the Little East championships at UMass-Dartmouth.
