Hartford Conn. 10/10/07- The Keene State field hockey team
dropped a 6-0 non-conference game to Trinity College on
Wednesday. First-year forward Christina Bradley (Wellesley,
Mass.) scored a goal just three minutes into the game and collected
two assists, while senior Marisa Shutte (Allentown, PA) scored
twice for the Bantams.
Sophomore Jillian Fraker (Nantucket, Mass.) made five saves in the
shutout, the fifth of the season for Fraker and the Bantam
defense. Trinity improves to 8-2 overall with their fourth
win in a row, while the Owls drop to 9-5 on the year.
Sophomore Vikki Stoessel (Derry, N.H.) and senior Jennifer
McDougall (Avon, CT) split time in net for the Owls, collecting
nine saves between the pair.
The Owls travel to Worcester State for a Little East match-up on
Friday at 7 p.m.
