NASHUA, N.H. 9/20/07 - The Keene State College women's
volleyball team posted a come-from-behind 3-2 non-conference
victory over Rivier College in Nashua on Thursday night.
After dropping the first two games of the match 22-30, 19-30,
the Owls (8-6) stormed back to win the next three games 30-25,
30-21, and 15-9.
Junior middle-hitter Brittany O'Bryant (Merimack, N.H.) led the
Owls with 20 kills. Senior hitter Kelly Yankowkski (Turners
Falls, Mass.) continued her strong season with 11 kills, 21 digs,
four blocks, and two service aces. On the defensive side,
libero Sarah Peterson (Danville, N.H.) had 21 digs and setter
Jordan Pokryfki (Wasilla, Ak.) finished with 46 assists.
Rivier falls to 5-6.
Keene State returns home to face Eastern Conn. and UMass-Boston
in round-robin LEC play on Saturday.
