KEENE, N.H. 9/5/07 - The 15th ranked Pride of Springfield
College handed the Keene State College field hockey team its first
loss of the season, a 4-0 non-conferecne shutout at Owl Athletic
Complex on Wednesday night.
Keene State falls to 1-1. Springfield (3-0) remains undefeated.
The Pride did all their scoring in the first half. After
Jane Kelleher (Chatham, Mass.) made it 1-0, Meghan Bradley
(Cumberland, R.I.) followed with three unassisted goals. Bradley
has a team-leading four goals for the Pride.
KSC goalie Jennifer McDougall had one save. Emma Kaplan
(Ridgefield, Conn) with two saves and Julia Kincade (Durham, N.H.)
with one save each played a half goal for Springfield.
KSC begins Little East play on Saturday when it travels to
Eastern Conn.
