HANOVER, N.H. 1/13/08 - Keene State College indoor track
teams returned to competition this weekend at the Dartmouth College
Relays in Hanover, N.H.
Kevin Kelleher turned in the top performance for the Owl men. The
senior from Rocky Hill, Conn. finished second in the mile (4:17.83)
and teamed with Peter Najem (Derry, N.H.), Frank Radlof (Milford,
N.H.), and Craig MacPherson (Derry, N.H.) to win the distance
medley relay (10:30.59).
MacPherson and Najem finished 2nd (1:58.41) and third (1:58.42)
respectively in the 800-meter race. Radlof also took third in the
long jump event (21'-11.50").
The Keene State men finished fifth with 38 points. Host Dartmouth
won the team title with 86.33 points.
Senior Jennifer Adams (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) placed fourth in the
3,000 (10:19.71) and fifth in the mile (5:06.55).
The KSC women finished the meet with six points. Northeastern
won the championship with 88.50 points.
The Owls compete next weekend at the Tufts Invitational.
