NEW LONDON, CONN. 10/11/08 - The Keene State women's volleyball team dropped non-conference matches to Brandeis and Coast Guard by the identical scores of 3-1 at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn. on Saturday.

The Owls lost their opening match to Brandeis (25-22, 19-25, 16-25, and 12-25).  Freshman outside hitter Bridget O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.) had 12 kills and senior libero Sarah Peterson (Danville, N.H.) finished with 24 digs.

KSC won its opening game against Coast Guard (25-18), before dropping the next three (18-25, 17-25, and 16-25).  O'Bryant had 10 kills and junior outside hitter Abby Rosen (Hebron, Conn.) contributed 13 digs in the match.

Keene State (17-8) is at Emmanuel College on Thursday (7 p.m.).
