BRUNSWICK, ME. 10/4/08 - The Keene State women's volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference matches at the Mid-Coast Invitational on Saturday.

            The Owls lost a four game match to Bates 1-3 (25-15, 16-25, 15-25, and 22-25) and a five game match to Colby College 2-3 (24-26, 22-25, 25-15, 25-17, and 7-15).

            Senior middle hitter Brittany O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.) continued her strong play with 18 kills and six blocks against Colby and 12 kills and three blocks vs. Bates.  Freshman outside hitter Bridget O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.) also chipped in with 10 kills against Colby and five kills vs. Bates.

            The Owls travel to Plymouth State on Tuesday (6 p.m.) for a key Little East match.
