EAST MEADOW, N.Y. 12/7/08 - The Keene State men's swim team
finished third at the ECAC Division III Championships held this
weekend at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, N.Y.
KSC finished the meet with 457 points. SUNY-Geneseo won
the championship with 749 points.
The Owls, who set five school records in the first two days of
competition, added two new marks on Sunday. Freshman
Patrick Rogers (Wayland, Mass.) finished fourth in
the one-meter diving event with a record 370.45 points and the 400
medley relay team of junior Domingo Rose (Nashua,
N.H.), sophomores Connor Pennoyer (Norwalk,
Conn.), and Karl Balinski (Waterford, Conn.) and
freshman Colin Daly (Cromwell, Conn.) put their
names in the Owl record book with their second place (3:32.59)
performance.
In other races, sophomore Dan Theleen
(Southbury, Conn.) placed third in the 500 free (4:46.01) and
sophomore Dan Morse (Hope, R.I.), joined forces
with Pennoyer, Rose and
Balinski to take third in the 400 free relay
(3:14.93).
