WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS 9/16/08 - The Keene State field hockey team saw its five game winning streak come to an end with a 2-0 non-conference road loss to Williams College on Tuesday night.

Elspeth Macmillan and Anne se saint Phalle scored unassisted first half goals for Williams (2-1).

The Owls (5-2) mustered just seven shots on goal, three coming from junior forward Carly Benning (Brewster, Mass.). Both teams had six penalty corner opportunities.

Junior goalie Vikki Stoessel (Derry, N.H.) finished the game with 13 saves for KSC.  Katrina Tulla turned aside four shots to notch the shutout for the Ephs.

Keene State returns home to face Framingham State in a Little East conference contest on Saturday (1:30 p.m.).
