MIDDLETOWN, CONN. 9/17/08 - The Keene State women's volleyball
team lost a five game match (3-2) to host Wesleyan University on
Wednesday night.
After wining the first two games, 25-23, 25-18, the Owls dropped
the next three games 14-25, 19-25, and 10-15.
Senior middle blocker Brittany O'Bryant
(Merrimack, N.H.) led the KSC offense with 11kills and five
blocks. Sister, freshman outside hitter Bridget
O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.) had 10 kills and 12 digs.
Freshmen outside hitter Elyse Davis (Londonderry,
N.H.) added five kills, senior libero Sarah
Peterson (Danville, N.H.) had 17 digs, and junior setter
Jordan Pokryfki (Wasila, Alaska) finished with 38
assists.
Keene State (9-4) travels to Western Conn. on Saturday for LEC
matches against the Colonials and UMass-Dartmouth.
