NEW LONDON, N.H. 10/28/09 - The Keene State women's volleyball
team moved back over the .500 mark and extended its winning streak
to six matches with a 3-1 non-conference victory over Colby-Sawyer
College on Wednesday night.
After dropping the first game 22-25, Keene State (16-15) came
back to win the next three games 25-18, 25-21, and 25-14.
Sophomore Bridget O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.)
had a fine overall game for the Owls, finishing with 17 kills (.314
hitting pct.), 19 digs, three blocks, and three service aces.
Sophomore Ellyse Davis (Londonderry, N.H.) had
10 kills and four blocks, and senior Abby Rosen
(Hebron, Con.) contributed 10 kills and 17 digs.
Junior Michelle Doody (Franklin, Mass.) had a match-high 19
kills to go with 11 digs and three blocks to lead the Chargers
(17-12).
Keene State is at Brandeis on Friday.
