BRONX, N.Y. 3/5/11 – Three Owls earned a spot on the
podium at the ECAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field
Championships held at the New Balance Track & Field Center
Armory on Saturday.
Senior Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.) had the top
finish for Keene State, placing second (61'-03.50”) in
the weight throw event.
On the track, sophomore Maggie Fitter (Branford,
Conn.) was fourth in the mile with an NCAA provisional qualifying
time of 5:01.24. Senior Jared Samuel
(Londonderry, N.H.) placed fourth in the 3,000 with a time of
8:38.32.
In team scoring, the KSC men finished 20th with 13 points while the
Owl women were 27th with 10 points. Buffalo State (77 points)
won the men's championship while the College of New Jersey
captured the women's title with 58 points.
