NASHUA, N.H. 9/22/11 – The Keene State College women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to a season high four matches with a tough five game 3-2 victory over Rivier College at the Muldoon Fitness Center in Nashua on Thursday night.
The Owls improve to 7-4 while the Raiders (4-9) suffered their third straight loss.
Keene State prevailed 25-20, 20-25, 25-11, 20-25 and 15-13 in the back-and-forth match.
Senior Bridget O'Bryant (Merrimack, N.H.) led the Owls with 12 kills, 29 digs and three blocks. Senior Elyse Davis (Londonderry, N.H.) added eight kills, freshman Sammy Dormio (Leesburg, Va.) had 23 digs and senior setter Laurie Whalen (Niantic, Conn.) finished with 38 assists.
Keene State is at Eastern Conn. for a Little East Conference match on Saturday (1 p.m.).
