Box Score GORHAM, MAINE 10/23/12 – The Keene State College women's volleyball team wrapped up its Little East Conference schedule with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-16) victory over the University of Southern Maine at Hill Gym Tuesday night.
The Owls (16-13, 5-2 LEC) will be the third seed in the upcoming LEC tournament and host the loser of the Rhode Island College vs Plymouth state game this Saturday.
Freshman Angela Silveri (Poughquag, N.Y.) led a balanced KSC attack with eight kills and three service aces. Sophomore Sammy Dormio (Leesburg, Va.) and freshman Catherine Kazazian (Merrimack, N.H.) each had seven kills. Freshman Kaitlin Boyer (West Greenwich, R.I.) finished with nine digs while freshman setter Alexis Michal (Windham, N.H.) added 27 assists.
Keene State faces Colby-Sawyer at the Brandies Tournament on Friday (5 p.m.).
