SCHENECTADY, NY 10/5/12 - The Keene State College women's volleyball team split its two matches at the Interleague Challenge at the Union College Viniar Athletic Center in Schenectady on Friday night.
Keene State (10-10) lost it first match to Skidmore College 3-0 (25-19, 25-15 and 25-16.
Freshman Kaylee Deluga (Dennis, Mass.) had nine kills and freshman Kaitlin Boyer (West Greenwich, R.I) finished with 18 digs to lead the Owls. Freshman Haley Willumsen (Shelter Island, N.Y.) added 12 assists in the match.
The Owls came back to seep SUNY-Oneonta 3-0 (25-17, 25-21 and 25-19) in their second match.
Deluga finished with eight kills and 10 digs. Freshman Angela Silveri (Poughquag, N.Y.) had three blocks and Willumsen dished out 12 assists to go with 11 digs.
Keene State will play two more matches on Saturday. The Owls face Union College at 1 p.m. and SUNY-Potsdam at 3 p.m.
