Box Score KEENE, N.H. – The Keene State College field hockey team won their sixth game in a row, defeating RPI 3-2 in overtime, to deliver 25th year head coach Amy Watson an exciting 350th career victory.

The Owls (10-4) scored the game winner on a corner with 13 seconds left in overtime when Marita Brothers took a Brittney Cardente feed and fired a shot that found the back of the net for the 3-2 win.
It didn't take long for KSC to get on the board in the first half, as Mariah Barnett redirected a Kayla Renaud shot past the RPI goalkeeper just 1:05 into the game.
At 11:34, Molly Zuk tied the contest when she found the back of the net on a rebound off the Owls keeper.
Barnett netted her second goal at the 15:19 mark via an assist from Marisa Lemoine.
Once again, the Engineers would even the score when Claire Cecilio gathered a loose ball in front of the net for her second goal of the season.
Both teams played a scoreless second half with tenacious defense displayed by both sides.
Barnett had a chance for a hat trick two minutes into overtimewhen she found herself one-on-one with the keeper. She gathered her own rebound and attempted a flick over Hannah Clough's head, but the ball went just high of the cage.
Clough played well between the pipes for the Engineers, stopping 14 shots in a losing effort, while Meaghan Dwyer made eights saves in the first half for the Owls. Shauna Whittemore played the second half and overtime for Keene State turning away five shots to improve to 4-1.
Keene State finished with a slim 23-20 advantage in shots, while holding a 7-5 edge in penalty corners.
The Owls will play the remaining 3:06 of their September 2nd weather delayed game against Castleton State at home Friday at 5pm. The Engineers travel to Kean University on Saturday for a non-conference matchup beginning at 5pm.
