MIDDLEBURY, Vt.--The Keene State College men's swimming and diving team won eight events to sweep a tri-match with Middlebury College and Tufts University on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls beat Tufts 162-136 and Middlebury 200-80.
Shahar Resman picked up a pair of wins on the day, taking the 200 freestyle in 1:43.71, and the 500 yard freestyle in 4:42.39. Freshman Christopher Deegan posted a dominating win in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:54.10.
Cole Hogg nabbed a photo finish victory in the 200 fly, touching in at 1:56.42, just a fraction of a second ahead of Tufts' Anthony DeBenedetto, while Greg Youngstrom had a similarly close win in the 50 free, coming in in 21.29, just ahead of Middlebury's Ryan Cheuk.
Ryan Boraski and Youngstrom went 1-2 in the 100 freestyle, with Boraski winning in 47.45, just ahead of Youngstrom in 47.63. Christopher DiGiacomo had yet another win for KSC, taking the 200 IM in 1:57.92.
KSC ended the day with the 200 freestyle relay team of Boraski, Hogg, Youngstrom, and Luke Sprague winning in 1:25.73.
The Owls return to the pool on December 5-7, at the MIT Invitational.
