SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Lauren Markoe led the Keene State College track and field squad at the New England Division III Championships at Springfield College on Saturday.

Markoe (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) placed fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:20.21.  Markoe was also part of the 4x400 meter relay squad with Katelyn Terry (Strafford, N.H.), Allison Brady (Weymouth, Mass.), and Lindsey Terry (Strafford, N.H.), that finished in 4:12.88, bettering their seed time by nearly two full seconds.  Lindsey Terry ran the 600 meters in 1:43.48.

Meanwhile, Samantha Goldsmith (Derry, N.H.) brought home a ninth place finish in the 3,000 meters, with a time of 10:31.08.  

The 4x800 meter relay grouping of Kaley Mientkewicz (Hanson, Mass.), Molly Schaefer (Center Moriches, N.Y.), Carli Davis (Chester, N.H.), and Alyssa Lombardi (Southington, Conn.) finished in 10:02.09, eight seconds head of their seed time.  Davis, Lombardi, Brady, and Elizabeth McGurk (New Ipswich, N.H.) finished the distance medley in 13:00.55.  

In the field events, Sarah DiTonno threw the shot put 11.61 meters.
