TROY, N.Y.--Keene State College senior Josh Tuller placed 16th on the one meter dives on the first day of the NCAA Regional Diving Meet, hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Friday evening.
Tuller (Plainview, N.Y.) finished with 391.05 points, and will return to the pool for the three meter competition tomorrow. Johann Schmidt of Tufts University won the 1-meter competition with 576.20 points, followed by Mark Idleman of Amherst College (537.55) and Jermaine Miller of Oneonta State (529.45).
Schmidt, Idleman, and Miller claimed the first three of seven places available from the regional meet to the NCAA Championships. The remaining four will be decided on Saturday.
