INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.--The 800 freestyle relay team at Keene State College grabbed yet another All-America honor, finishing fifth on the third day of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium on Friday.
The foursome of Drew Ledwith, Cole Hogg, Shahar Resman, and Jared Hyde finished the race in 6:37.12, a three second improvement on their seed time from the morning preliminary and fifth overall.
Keene State sits in 10th place after three days of competition, with 108 points. Denison continues to lead the way with 374 points.
The championship concludes tomorrow with the 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 400 freestyle relay, and 1,650 freestyle. Keene State's entries include Greg Youngstrom in the 100 free, Jared Hyde in the 200 breaststroke, and Drew Ledwith and Shahar Resman in the 1,650. Ledwith is the top seed in the race. The Owls also have an entry in the 400 free relay.
