MEDFORD, Mass.--Senior Ryan Widzgowski and sophomore Lauren Markoe cemented their places at the NCAA Division III Championships at the Tufts Last Chance Meet on Thursday.

Both were at the meet to see if they could improve their times in the 800 meters, and improve they did.  Widzgowski won the race in 1:52.39, moving him up to fourth in the country.  Markoe ended up racing against no competition, but punched her ticket in 2:14.38, currently the 10th best time in NCAA Division III.

Markoe and Widzgowski will have one final chance to improve their times at the ECAC Championships this weekend.  The NCAA Division III Championships begin on March 14 at the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Neb.
