HANOVER, N.H.--The Keene State College cross country team got back on the trails this weekend at the Dartmouth College Invitational in Hanover, N.H., on Saturday.
Samantha Goldsmith was outstanding for the Owl women, finishing 14th overall in 22:36 and ending the day as the fastest Division III competitor. Kait Wheeler was next in 21st with a time of 22:50.50, followed by Kaley Mientkiewicz (28th, 23:24.70), Lindsay Szuch (33rd, 23:41.30), and Carli Davis (34th, 23:49.90).
Ryan Brady topped the Keene State men with a 19th place finish in 25:39.70, just ahead of Hayden Patterson who was 20th in 25:41.50. Patrick Chabot crossed the line in 23rd place in 25:43.80, while Philip Parent (25th, 25:55.60) and Mark Rabasco (26th, 26:07.40) rounded out the KSC scorers.
Both teams ended the day in third place, just behind host Dartmouth College and Brown University.
The Owls return to racing in two weeks, at the Williams Invitational on September 27.
