Box Score KEENE, N.H. - The Owls 2-1 lead did not hold up as Rivier University won the final two games in their 3-2 victory over Keene State in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night at Spaulding Gymnasium.
The Raiders (13-5) won by set scores of 16-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 15-11.
Three Owls reached double-digit kills in Angela Silveri (14), Cat Kazazian (13) and Samantha Branning. Setters Brooke Bell and Alexis Michal combined for 48 assists, while Leslie Hearns chipped in a team high 17 digs.
Dana Mott was outstanding for the Raiders along the net as she recorded a .595 hitting percentage with 24 kills, followed by Molly McCormack's 12 kills and 11 digs. Emily O'Reilly directed the offense with 48 assists and four services aces and Bethany Trevino tallied a team high 23 digs.
Keene State (9-12) returns to action Saturday, October 4 against Salem St. (12pm) and Emerson (2pm). Both matches will be played at Emerson College. The Raiders are on the road at Suffolk University Saturday at 11am, followed by Lasell at 1pm.
