HANOVER, N.H.--Freshman Quentin Bazarnicki set a new school record in the pole vault at the Dartmouth Relays on Sunday at the Leverone Field House.

Bazarnicki vaulted 3.85 meters to break a 16 year old record, previously held by Chris Mitchell at 3.3 meters in 1999.  Bazarnicki also finished 10th in the 800 meters, clocking in at 2:03.49.

Karissa Bergman nearly wrote her name in the record books as well, setting a new personal best in the weight throw at 13.53 meters.  The record is currently 13.93, set by Christine Leggett in 2001.

Ben Keach was ninth in both the shot put and the weight throw.  Keach threw the shot 14.94 meters, and the weight 13.94 meters.  

Katelyn Terry placed sixth in the 800 meters with a season best time of 2:26.00. 

The Owls return to action next Saturday at the Tufts Invitational.
