Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--The Keene State College volleyball team rebounded from a first set loss to pick up a 3-1 (18-25, 27-25, 26-24, 25-12) win over Western New England University on Tuesday night.
Keene State improves to 18-8, while the Golden Bears fall to 9-10.
Reigning LEC Defensive Player of the Week Alexis Michal had 40 assists and 15 digs, while LEC Rookie of the Week Riley Bunker had 12 digs and four service aces. Michal's 15 digs move her into eighth place all-time on the Keene State career list.
Angela Silveri had 14 kills and 13 digs, including the 1,000th dig of her career, making her just the second player in school history to have 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.
Rachel Lamica became the third KSC player to have a double-double on the night, notching 10 kills and 12 digs.
Keene State heads to Eastern Connecticut State for an LEC matchup that will take place on Saturday, October 24, at 2 p.m.
