Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Rachel Lamica hit .484 with 16 kills to help the Keene State College volleyball team earn a 3-1 (25-13, 17-25, 25-22, 25-9) win over Westfield State University at the Tom Hay Invitational at Springfield College on Friday night.
The Keene State Owls improve to 13-7. The Westfield State Owls fall to 7-10. It was the second matchup between the teams this season; KSC took a 3-0 decision over Westfield State on September 9.
Joining Lamica in double-digit kills with Angela Silveri, with 10, while Cat Kazazian, Christine Hadfield, Madeleine Nossif, and Taylor Bright each had six. Alexis Michal had 26 assists and Brooke Bell 16, while Riley Bunker had 24 digs.
Lamica also had a solo block, three block assists, and a service ace. Keene State limited Westfield State to hitting .102 as a team,
Keene State returns to action tomorrow, facing Eastern Connecticut State and host Springfield at 10 am and 12:30 pm, respectively.
