NEW YORK, N.Y.--Several members of the Keene State College swimming & diving team hit NCAA B-cuts at the New York University Invitational on Friday night at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center.
Alison Bartlett did so in the 100 free, winning the event in 51.95. Likewise for Diana Pimer, who won the 200 breast in 2:22.10. Hope Walsh also recorded a win, taking the 200 back in 2:06.78.
There were also B-cut qualifiers on the men's team, beginning with a trio of qualifiers from the 200 back. Bobby McDowell won the event in 1:49.01, followed Christopher DiGiacomo in 1:51.03, and Randy Dunton, who touched the wall in 1:51.40.
Cole Hogg also claimed a B-cut time in the 200 fly, with a winning time of 1:51.41, while McDowell teamed up with Nathan Shepard, Luke Sprague, and Ryan Boraski for a qualifying time in the 400 medley relay in 3:22.20.
There was a win for Greg Youngstrom in the 100 freestyle, who finished first in 46.36.
The meet, which is non-scoring, resumes tomorrow morning.
